Alava church was designed by Swiss-born André Schütz and its appearance has long divided public opinion.
The project involved the replacement of badly damaged shell elements on the church's facade and the repair of cast-in-situ concrete elements that had fallen into disrepair. Relatively minor repairs and changes were made to the interior. Kumoni acted as main contractor for the site.
